〈숨쉬는 기계〉 전시의 그래픽 컨셉은 ‘청사진’입니다. 이는 단순한 기계의 설계도를 넘어, 미래에 대한 계획과 가능성을 뜻하는 확장된 의미를 담고 있습니다. 이 전시를 통해 살아 숨 쉬는 예술이 하나의 거대한 청사진으로 그려지기를 바랐습니다. 이를 위해 짙은 파란색의 공간을 구축하고, 작가들의 작품 이미지를 그래픽화하여 불규칙하게 배치했습니다. 결과적으로 기계들은 푸른 청사진의 바다를 자유롭게 유영하는 형태를 띠게 됩니다. 메인 타이틀은 고딕체를 사용하여 기계의 단단한 시각적 특징을 살렸으며, 텍스트의 선명도에 차이를 두어 정형화되지 않은 기계의 다양한 변화 가능성을 담아냈습니다.
The primary graphic concept for the exhibition Breathing Machine is a ＆blueprint. This concept extends beyond the literal meaning of a mechanical schematic, embracing a broader vision of future plans and possibilities. Through this exhibition, I envisioned living, breathing art being drawn as one colossal blueprint. To realize this, a deep blue spatial background was established, upon which the participating artists＊ works were translated into graphics and arranged in an irregular, organic manner. As a result, the machines visually appear to swim freely through a deep blue sea of blueprints. For the main title typography, a solid sans-serif typeface was selected to emphasize the rigid visual characteristics of machinery. Simultaneously, intentional variations in text sharpness and focus were applied to convey the unstandardized, ever-varying potential of these machines.
